The Domaine des Chesnaies is standing in the heart of Anjou, one of the great terroirs in the Val de Loire, at the edge of the Layon, in the town of Saint Lambert du Lattay.
The white grapes are growing in exceptional terroirs like « Les Bonnes Blanches » or « La Potardière », made of quartz and clay on schist, and sand and gravel on schist respectively. The red grapes are also located on qualitative lands, made of sand and clay on schist, which posess high draining property.
The Domaine des Chesnaies has been converting to certified organic farming for three years.
